SMS Opt-In and Consent

Richwood Industries sends text messages only to people who asked for them. Marketing consent and transactional consent are collected separately. Neither is ever a condition of buying anything.

Every way you can opt in

Website forms. This happens on the contact form at Contact, the sample test form at Sample Test, and the machine reservation flow at Customize. The person enters a phone number, checks the program they want, and submits the form. They see two separate unchecked boxes with the exact consent statements shown below.
By phone or in person. A Richwood team member reads the consent language aloud. The customer hears the exact statement and says yes. The team member records the date, time, and exact language in the customer record before any message is sent.
By replying to a text. This happens when someone texts the business number first. The person sends the first message. They see a reply tied to that conversation and receive transactional replies for that conversation only. They are never opted in to marketing this way.
Trade shows and paper forms. The person sees a printed form carrying the identical two consent statements below. They choose a program, then sign and date the form. The selection and consent record are keyed into the customer record.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop that program. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about an active order. Stopping transactional messages does not require opting out of marketing.

We do not share your opt-in

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Phone numbers and consent records are used only by Richwood Industries and its messaging provider to deliver these messages.

Records we keep

Every opt-in is stored with the date and time, the IP address and browser for web opt-ins, the page where it happened, the version of the consent language shown, and the verbatim text. We keep these records for at least five years.
